Not necessarily, our small and medium sized Hot Spring Spas do not require a concrete pad. These spas can be used over pea gravel, 4x4 lumber, landscape pavers, or even a deck as long as it was built to support the weight of your spa.

Larger models of spas require being set on a concrete pad that is reinforced with 4” re bar.
